General Data Protection Regulation Policy (GDPR)

In order to fulfil any contract between us we believe that it is necessary to hold some personal data about the people in your organisation that we deal with or yourself. The GDPR legislation came into force within the UK on the 25th May 2018. This means we need to advise you about how it affects your relationship with us at A Fine Experience and the data we hold about you.

We ask that you read this notice carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use and share personal information, our customers rights in relation to such personal information and on how to contact us and supervisory authorities in the event you have a complaint.

Who we are:

A Fine Experience (AFX) specialise in creating the bespoke perfect experience - from fine dining to unique adventures, from sporting hospitality to escapes to hidden locations. Adrenalin or relaxing AFX can arrange your fine experience.

Our position with respect to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

A Fine Experience collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about its customers and suppliers to provide the services we are contracted/instructed to deliver.

When we do so we are regulated under and are obliged to comply with GDPR which applies across the European Union (including in the UK).

The personal information we collect and use:

While providing services we may process the following personal information when provided to us:

  • Personal data eg. name, address, email address, telephone number;
  • Financial data eg. credit or debit card details and bank details;
  • Interaction history and connection data;
  • Company data where this identifies a data subject eg. company name and company registration number.

How we use personal information:

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain and invoice for the services provided;
  • Perform day to day management of accounts and services;
  • Record consent, (eg. in relation to marketing preferences, to provide information to alternative formats and to ensure marketing materials are issued in line with preferences);
  • Identify, manage and troubleshoot service issues;
  • Receive, manage and resolve requests, queries, complaints and claims.

Who we share personal information with:

We routinely share personal information within A Fine Experience and with third party suppliers to the extent necessary to ensure that the applicable services are delivered to our customers. A list of third party suppliers is available on request by contacting us using the contact details provided below.

We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by law.

We will not share your penal information with any other third party.

How long your personal information will be kept:

We will hold personal information only for as long as is necessary for the delivery of services to our customers or for as long as required by law.

Your rights:

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have several important rights free of charge. In summary, this includes rights to:

  • Fair processing of information and transparency over how we use your personal information;
  • Access to your personal information and to certain other supplementary information that this notice is already designed to address;
  • Require us to correct any mistakes in your information which we hold;
  • Require the deletion of personal information concerning you in certain situations;
  • Receive the personal information concerning you which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format and have the right to transmit data to a third party in certain situations;
  • Object at any time to processing of personal information concerning you for direct marketing;
  • Object to decisions being taken by automated means which produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you;
  • Object in certain other situations to our continued processing of your personal information;
  • Otherwise restrict our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances; and
  • Claim compensation for damages caused by our breach of any data protection laws.

Keeping your personal information secure:

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have genuine businesses and need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

How to complain:

The General Data Protection Regulation also gives the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the European Union (or European Economic Area) state where you work, normally live or where any alleged infringement of data protection laws occurred.
